I learned how to paint by myself, but I always kept a very close relationship with everything that has to do with art, specially painting. After trying different materials and technics, in 2006 I finally elected glass as my favourite material.

My unending impulse for discovering and searching for new challenges made me evolve as a creator of new ways of seeing and communicating, using the canvas and the tile as supports that made me widen my horizons.

Curriculum and statement

I had already done eighteen individual exhibitions and participated in more than one hundred collective exhibitions, both in Portugal and abroad, having received more than a dozen prizes in Portugal and Brazil.

My work is represented in private collections in Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Brazil, Argentina, Australia and USA.

My painting may be described in two words: colour and movement.
My work reflects my vision of society and of our world, where nothing stands still, everything is continuously moving.
